Florida State softball's Isa Torres was named a First Team All-American by D1Softball on Tuesday morning. Torres was named a First Team All-American by Softball America last week.
Torres put together one of the best seasons in FSU history in 2025. Torres broke the single season record for batting average with a .436 average. Torres finished third all-time in FSU history for most hits in a season with 95 and fourth all-time in FSU history for most runs scored in a single season with 70. Torres recorded a hit in 51 out of FSU's 61 games this season and reached base in 54 out of FSU's 61 games. Torres finished the year with nine home runs and 45 RBI.
Five Seminoles Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
Five Seminoles were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on Tuesday afternoon. Jaysoni Beachum, Kennedy Harp, Jahni Kerr, Amaya Ross and Isa Torres were all named to the team.
Beachum finished with a 3.672 GPA during the 2024-25 school year. On the field, Beachum finished with a .304 average with 11 home runs and 45 RBI. Beachum was named to the NFCA All-Region Third Team.
Harp was a breakout star for FSU in 2025 and was also stellar in the classroom. Harp finished second on the team with a .412 batting average with nine home runs and 49 RBI. In the classroom, Harp finished the school year with a 3.788 GPA.
Kerr ended the year with a 3.583 GPA and was a star for the Noles on the field in 2025. Kerr ended the season with a career high .381 batting average with nine home runs and 42 RBI. Kerr was named to the All-ACC First Team and NFCA All-Region Second Team.
Ross posted a team-high 3.853 GPA in the school year and was great on the field for FSU. Ross led the ACC in steals with 21 and was caught just once. Ross hit .281 with five home runs and 17 RBI.
Torres was phenomenal for FSU this season as she broke the school record with a .436 batting average. Torres hit nine home runs and 45 RBI and was named a First Team All-American by both D1Softball and Softball America. In the classroom, Torres posted a 3.563 GPA.
CSC Academic All-Americans will be announced on June 17.
